To assist in the recruitment process and to ensure compliance with the Equality Act 2010, we offer a New Employee Health Assessment.

New Employee Health Assessments vary dependent on the duties and risks associated with the job.

The assessment process in the first instance will be undertaken by an Occupational Health Nurse assessing a self completed health questionnaire together with either a telephone or face to face consultation where required.  Occasionally, a follow up appointment will be undertaken by an Occupational Health Physician where specific hazards or health issues are identified.

The employer will receive a report prepared by the Occupational Health practitioner confirming that the applicant has been assessed, noting any adjustments, modifications or onging health surveillance that should be considered and/ or advice on the course of action that should be taken.  Reference, where appropriate, will be made to relevant legislation such as the Equality Act & Working Time Directive.
