Daniel Brown, Consultant, Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon


Mr Daniel Brown is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in hand and wrist surgery and has a particular interest in wrist trauma, its management and its complications; and in the use of total wrist replacements in arthritis.

Mr Daniel Brown is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in hand and wrist surgery and has a particular interest in wrist trauma, its management and its complications; and in the use of total wrist replacements in arthritis. 

He is an Associate Professor at the University of Liverpool, a graduate of The University of Manchester, a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of England and is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Society for Surgery to the Hand, of which he is a member of council. 

Mr Brown has previously held the post of Chair of the Education and Training committee of The BSSH and Hand Tutor for The Royal College of Surgeons of England. He has a keen interest in research and education and has been awarded an MA in Learning & Teaching in Clinical Practice.
